“We’d previously renovated another acreage in the Southern Highlands but we just hated the commute into the Sydney CBD – but Dural offered us the best of both worlds because it is just 45-minutes into town,” he said.
“We really wanted to renovate a large estate and this one is well-built but was very dated, so we jumped on it. The enormity of the project probably caused us the biggest stress but it was so worth it – there’s not an area where we are not happy with the outcome.”
Created to be the ‘ultimate entertainer’, the property has been designed with spaces to bring people together. Its multi-zoned layout includes a sunken formal lounge, games/cinema room with its own bar and a gym. “Renovated homes tend to have everything looking the same and we didn’t want that so we opted for different colour schemes and finishes, “ Mr Viglino said. “We wanted to create something that changed when you moved throughout the home, and so it gives each room a purpose.”

Their recent Dural sales include 2 Haven Place which fetched $11.1m, 21 Wyoming Rd which sold for $6.3m and 465 Galston Rd which was purchased for $6.3m.
